About Me

A Short Story Seems Fitting

Where it all Started

I’ve been deep in the tech, UX and business landscape for about two decades now. My journey kicked off with a solid foundation in Software Engineering thanks to my time in New Zealand where I was studying toward my BSc in Applied Computing from The University of Waikato (such a blessing and such a privilege).

Epiphany 1 – User Centered Design

But you know what really lights my fire? Design – that sweet spot where form meets function. After my initial stint in software engineering, I came to the realisation that no matter how elegantly I code, if folks don’t enjoy using technology and find no intrinsic value in the technology we create, they simply won’t use our products.

So, down the rabbit hole I went, diving headfirst into the fascinating realm of user experience (UX) design and design thinking. And it’s been quite an adventure.

Epiphany 2 – Commercially Viable Products

As I climbed into more senior roles, I further realised that the products and services that we create aren’t just about wooing the users – they’ve got to make viable business sense as well. The blend of user-centric vibes, creating value and the art of turning a profit became my jam.

Product Management – My Calling

Bringing all these areas of expertise together, I found my calling in Product Management – the sweet spot where UX, technology and business come together beautifully in a symphony of innovation.

My niche, my purpose and my unapologetic passion 💛
